Peru
Peru is the quiet favorite around here. A medium roast with salted caramel sweetness and a silky body, lifted by just enough citrus to keep it from going flat. It's the bag we hand people who say they want something smooth but not boring.
Tasting Notes
- Salted caramel sweetness
- Silky, rounded body
- Soft citrus brightness on the finish
Where It Comes From
These beans come from Cooperativa Agrícola de Servicios Norandino, a grower cooperative working across the Piura and Amazonas regions of northern Peru. The farms sit between 1,100 and 1,700 meters in clay-mineral soil — elevation high enough to slow the cherry's development and concentrate its sugars. The coffee is gully washed and dried in the sun, which keeps the cup clean and lets the caramel sweetness come forward rather than the fruit.
