Mexico
Chocolate and cinnamon up front, green apple on the back end. Mexico is a medium roast that tastes like it was built for a cold morning, and it is the one we reach for when we want something familiar with a little more going on than a standard house cup.
Tasting Notes
- Milk chocolate and warm cinnamon
- Crisp green apple acidity
- Medium body, clean finish
Where It Comes From
Grown by coffee farmers in Chiapas and Oaxaca, the two southern Mexican states that produce most of the country's specialty coffee. The farms sit between 900 and 1,000 meters in clay-mineral soil. Cherries are fully washed and sun dried, a process that strips away the fruit and leaves the chocolate and spice notes clear in the cup.
